Sangria? Yes, please.

This past weekend we had all of my salon girls and their families over to the house for a cookout. It's so nice to be able to hang out with them outside of the salon. When we are working our conversations consist of hair and all the things we experience dealing with the public. People are great, but some people can be CRAZY. When you get all 12 of us together outside the salon, add in the most fabulous sangria in the world and we know how to relax and have a good time! Here is the Sangria recipe that made our cookout extra fun! Enjoy!

Sangria

servings: 6
prep time: 10 min
ready in: 30min, better overnight

1/2 cup brandy
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/3 cup frozen lemonade concentrate
1/3 cup orange juice
1(750ml) bottle dry red wine
1/2 cup triple sec
1 lemon, sliced into rounds
1 orange, sliced into rounds
1 lime, sliced into rounds
1/4 cup white sugar (optional)
8 maraschino cherries
2 cups carbonated water or ginger ale (optional)

Directions:
In a large pitcher or bowl, mix together brandy, lemon juice, lemonade concentrate, orange juice, red wine, triple sec and sugar. Float slices of lemon, orange, lime, and maraschino cherries in the mixture. Refrigerate overnight for best flavor. For a fizzy sangria, add carbonated water or ginger ale just before serving.
